For FixThat television services in Delhi, a ₹249 visit finds out why your TV is dead, silent or showing lines, and a written quote lands on your booking before any repair starts. Expect a plain answer: a bad socket or cable, a power board, backlight strips or a damaged panel. LED, LCD, smart and QLED sets are covered, and the fee comes off the final bill once you approve the work. Same-day slots can open up, and repairs carry a 30-day warranty.

We send a technician to find out what is wrong with your LED, LCD, smart or QLED TV. You get the quote in writing before anything is repaired, and if you say yes, the ₹249 comes off your final repair bill.

We mount your TV on a wall bracket or place it on its table stand, and then hook it up and check that it works.

We safely bring your wall-mounted TV down, and can take the bracket off as well if you ask.

A wall mount that holds the TV in one fixed position. It suits most TVs of your size and goes up during your installation.

This bracket has a swivel arm, so your TV can swing round and tilt. It goes up during your installation.
Start with what the TV is doing. The check-up is ₹249 for every fault, so pick the closest match. The cause shown is only the likely one until the visit confirms it.
| What your TV does | Likely cause | What to book | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dead, with no standby light | Socket, power cord or power board | TV check-up, Power issue | ₹249 |
| Light on or blinking, but it will not start | Remote, power board or main board | TV check-up, Power issue | ₹249 |
| Sound plays, screen stays black | Wrong input, backlight strips or a board | TV check-up, Display issue | ₹249 |
| Vertical or horizontal lines | HDMI cable, set-top box, T-con board or panel | TV check-up, Display issue | ₹249 |
| Dark patches or one dim side | Backlight strips or panel | TV check-up, Display issue | ₹249 |
| No sound or crackling speakers | Sound setting, connected device or speakers | TV check-up, Sound issue | ₹249 |
| Remote, Wi-Fi or apps failing, or two faults at once | Remote, network, software or more than one part | TV check-up, Not sure or more than one issue | ₹249 |
| New TV to fit on the wall or its stand | No fault, it needs fitting and testing | TV installation | From ₹399 |
| Wall TV to take down before you shift | No fault, it needs careful removal | TV uninstallation | From ₹349 |
The visit is listed at about 1 hour and covers six things, from the plug point to your final decision.
Look at the standby light before you book. Samsung's support guide reads a steady red light as a sign that the TV is getting power, and a blinking one as a possible problem inside the set. Lights differ by brand, so treat this as a first clue.
Light on, no start. Press the power button on the TV itself. If the button works and the remote does not, the remote is the likely fault, and the TV may be fine.
No light at all. Unplug the TV for 30 seconds, then plug it straight into a wall socket you know is working. Samsung advises leaving surge protectors out of this test, as they can degrade and stop supplying the right voltage.
Still dead. The power board is the next suspect. It takes the mains supply and feeds the rest of the TV, so its failure can look like a completely dead set. Book the ₹249 Power issue check-up. If the socket supply is poor, a new board may simply fail again, so the socket gets tested too.

Black screen with sound. Rule out the input first. Samsung's guide says a black screen can simply mean the wrong source, or a connected device that is off.
Next, try a torch in a dark room. Hold a phone torch close to the screen at an angle. If a faint picture shows, the panel is probably still working and the light behind it has stopped. This check usually works but proves nothing on its own, as a board can cut the backlight too.
Lines on the screen. Lines do not always mean a dead panel. LG lists a video signal problem from a set-top box, a loose or damaged HDMI or antenna cable, and a wrong aspect ratio among the causes. So run the built-in picture test first.
On newer LG TVs it sits under All Settings, Support, Screen Self-Diagnosis. On Samsung TVs, look under Support, Device Care, Self Diagnosis. LG's reading is simple: if the test image looks normal, check the cable and the connected device. If the lines appear on the test image too, the TV needs inspection.
Dark patches and cracks. Dim areas usually point to backlight strips, or to pressure damage on the panel. A cracked panel cannot be mended, only replaced. LG does not treat a small number of dark or bright dots as a defect. Book the ₹249 Display issue check-up for any of these.

These are the parts a TV repair quote usually names. Parts are not on the rate card because they vary by model, so the price comes in your written quote.
| Part | What it does | Signs of failure | Ask before you approve |
|---|---|---|---|
| Power board | Feeds power to the rest of the TV | Dead set, blinking light, TV switching off by itself | Was the socket supply normal at the visit |
| Backlight strips | Light an LED or QLED panel from behind | Sound with a black screen, dim patches | Are all strips changed, or only the failed ones |
| T-con board | Sends timing signals to the panel | Lines or a garbled picture | Has the panel been ruled out |
| Main board | Handles inputs, picture and smart features | HDMI ports failing, TV restarting, apps freezing | Could a software update fix this first |
| Panel | Forms the picture itself | Cracks, spreading black areas, lines on the test image |
Some of these faults need no spare part, and a few minutes of checks can save you the ₹249 visit. For no sound, check mute and confirm the sound output is set to the TV speaker. Then run the sound test on a Samsung TV, found under Device Care or Support, then Self Diagnosis. If the melody plays cleanly, the speakers are probably fine and the fault may sit in a connected device.
For a dead remote, use your phone camera. Point the front tip of the remote at the lens and hold the power button. If you see a flash on the phone screen, the remote is sending a signal. If not, change the batteries.
For Wi-Fi faults, restart the router and see if your phone connects. If the phone connects and the TV does not, book the check-up under Not sure or more than one issue.
Delhi's single-phase home supply is 230 volts, and DERC's supply rules allow 6% either way at the point of supply, about 216 to 244 volts. Whether your TV needs a stabiliser depends on the model, so read the voltage range on its back label or in the manual before you buy one.
Storms are a different problem from low voltage. LG's monsoon advice is to unplug the power cord when thunderstorms or lightning are forecast, and never to touch a power outlet during one. LG's warranty terms exclude power surges, dips and thunderstorm activity, so a board lost in a storm can turn into a paid repair.
If the socket supply looks wrong at the check-up, complain to your power company and keep the complaint number. BSES Rajdhani (19123) serves South Delhi and West Delhi, BSES Yamuna (19122) serves East Delhi and Central Delhi, and Tata Power-DDL (19124) serves North Delhi and North West Delhi. Your bill names the company. If only one room's sockets misbehave, book FixThat electrical services for the wiring.
Heat matters as well. Safdarjung touched 45.1°C on 19 May 2026, while one LG manual gives 40°C as the top operating temperature. A room is usually cooler than the outdoor peak, but a TV boxed into a tight cabinet on a top floor has less margin. Keep the vents open, and leave the 10 cm wall gap that manual asks for on a table stand.
In the monsoon, LG warns that higher humidity raises the risk of electrical leakage, and says to replace blackened outlets and damaged power cords immediately.

Installation covers a wall check for wiring and pipes, drilling, mounting, connecting devices and a picture and sound test. Brackets are paid add-ons, fitted during installation.
| Service | Smallest size | 46 to 55 inch | Largest size |

| Universal wall bracket | ₹500, 24 to 26 inch | ₹800 | ₹2,500, 85 inch |
| Rotating wall bracket | ₹1,000, 24 to 26 inch | ₹1,800 | ₹3,500, 85 inch |
| TV uninstallation | ₹349, below 46 inch | ₹399 | above 65 inch |
Each fact changes a decision: whether the fault is the supply, where the TV should sit, or who pays. Manual and warranty figures vary by model, so check your own.
Check your purchase date first. If the brand warranty is still running, go to the brand before you book anyone else. LG's terms, for one, exclude damage from unauthorised repairs, so an outside repair can cost you the cover. Warranty cards differ by model, so read your own.
A power board or backlight repair on a newer TV is usually worth doing. Think twice with a cracked panel on a small set, or a model too old to find parts for. A panel is usually the costliest part in a TV, so put your written quote next to today's price for a new set of that size.
Before you approve, ask which part is being changed and where the work will be done. After a FixThat repair, the work carries a 30-day warranty. If the same problem comes back within 30 days, contact support from your booking and keep your invoice. FixThat is run by ProNearMe, which means one booking system, one price list and one support team. The about page has more.
If you do replace the TV, do not leave the old one with someone who will strip it for parts. The Central Pollution Control Board warns that e-waste can harm health and the environment when it is opened up unscientifically. Ask the brand or your dealer about take-back, or use a registered recycler.

The check-up is ₹249 for power, sound, display or mixed faults. The repair cost depends on the part and your model, and it comes as a written quote on your booking before any work starts.
It is adjusted in the final repair bill if you approve the work. No repair starts until you have seen the written quote, so you can compare it with a new TV first.
Often, yes. The usual suspects are the input setting, backlight strips or a board. Check the source and try the torch test first. If a faint picture shows, book the Display issue check-up and ask what the quote covers.
No. A cracked panel can only be replaced. Ask for the panel price in writing and compare it with a new TV of the same size. LG lists scratches, dents and chips from handling among its warranty exclusions, so the cost is likely to be yours.
A surge can damage the power board, though only a check can confirm it. Keep the TV unplugged until the visit. Note that LG's warranty terms exclude thunderstorm activity and surges, so read your own card before you claim.
It depends on the model. Read the voltage range on the back label or in the manual and compare it with your supply. If the voltage at your socket keeps moving outside the 216 to 244 volt limit, complain to your power company first.
FixThat television services list the check-up for LED, LCD, smart and QLED TVs. If you own another type, such as OLED, ask support before you book.
It can. Brand terms often exclude unauthorised repairs, and LG's do. If your TV is still under warranty, go to the brand first and come back to FixThat once the cover has ended.
30 days on the repair. If the same problem returns in that time, contact support from your booking. Any brand warranty still running has its own separate terms.
Power, sound, inputs and Wi-Fi can usually be checked with the TV on the wall. If a repair needs it down, ask for that in the quote. TV uninstallation is listed from ₹349.
A universal bracket is fixed and starts at ₹500. A rotating bracket lets you turn and tilt the TV and starts at ₹1,000. Both prices rise with screen size. For a shelf near the TV, see handyman services.
Same-day slots are possible when they are open at the time you book. The repair itself depends on the fault and on whether the part for your model is available.
